The conference activities will take place at the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS), in Braamfontein, a central suburb of Johannesburg. This is a colourful area, with many cafes, restaurants, shops, and the vibrant atmosphere associated with student life. It also hosts some of Johannesburg’s most interesting landmarks, as the Constitution Hill, the Wits Arts Museum, the Mandela Bridge, the Origins Centre, and the East Campus of the Wits University. Braamfontein is also connected by high quality bus (Rea Vaya) and train services. The Gautrain, an excellent fast train service, connects Johannesburg Park station to northern suburbs (Rosebank, Sandton) as well as to Pretoria (Pretoria and Hatfield) and to O. R. Tambo International Airport. Participants will find bellow a short list of hotels and eateries which are particular convenient given their location.

As atividades da conferência ocorrerão nas instalações do Instituto Francês da África do Sul e do Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research. Ambas as instituições localizam-se em Braamfontein, uma área central de Joanesburgo.
